I recently had the pleasure of working with Vastrae, a cutting-edge e-commerce clothing brand, to elevate its visual identity and online presence. The goal was to develop a cohesive and modern visual identity that resonates with fashion-forward individuals aged 18-35. I designed a user-friendly website, created engaging social media graphics, and produced stylish marketing materials. By blending contemporary trends with a touch of elegance, I ensured that Vastrae stands out in the competitive fashion market and appeals to its diverse and style-conscious audience. The end result is a visually striking and cohesive brand that truly captures the essence of Vastrae.
Branding for Vastrae, involved a detailed and collaborative process to create a distinct and memorable identity. We began with an in-depth consultation to understand the client’s vision, target audience, and values. Extensive market research and competitor analysis informed the creative direction. We developed multiple concepts for the logo, color palette, and visual elements, focusing on simplicity, elegance, and versatility. The chosen logo, a sleek minimalist design with clean lines, was made to be adaptable for various applications. The color palette, featuring deep blue and gold, conveyed luxury and trustworthiness, while secondary colors provided flexibility. Typography combined modern sans-serif and classic serif fonts for readability and consistency.
​Visual elements, inspired by traditional textiles but modernized, were integrated into social media templates, email newsletters, and ads. A comprehensive brand book documented all identity aspects, ensuring future consistency. The brand’s tone of voice, defined as friendly, sophisticated, and informative, was consistently applied across all platforms. Packaging was designed to be eco-friendly, with the brand’s colors and logo, enhancing the unboxing experience. High-quality printing techniques ensured a professional look for stationery.​
Regular client meetings helped refine concepts, ensuring the final designs met expectations. Once finalized, branding materials were applied across platforms, establishing a strong, cohesive presence. This thorough process gave Vastrae a distinct identity that resonates with its audience, laying a foundation for future growth in the competitive e-commerce market.

The marketing strategy for Vastrae used Meta Business Suite to build a strong online presence and drive engagement. We focused on Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger, creating a content calendar for posts, stories, and ads around product launches, promotions, and events. Interactive content like polls and Q&A sessions helped foster community engagement.​
Our advertising campaigns had clear objectives—boosting brand awareness, traffic, and conversions. We targeted audiences based on demographics and interests, using visually appealing ad creatives. Meta Business Suite analytics enabled real-time performance tracking and optimization.​
Email marketing was crucial, with custom-designed, mobile-responsive templates for newsletters, promotions, and transactional emails. Automated email sequences (welcome series, abandoned cart reminders, post-purchase follow-ups) and personalized content increased engagement and retention. We grew the email list through website sign-ups and social media promotions, offering exclusive discounts and content as incentives.​

For Vastrae, I focused on implementing a targeted SEO strategy to enhance online visibility and attract organic traffic. Using tools like Google Keyword Planner and SEMrush, I conducted thorough keyword research to identify relevant terms for home, product, and blog pages, prioritizing long-tail keywords to improve conversion rates. On Shopify, I optimized product descriptions and blog content with strategic keywords, ensuring meta tags and image optimizations were tailored for optimal search engine performance.
Additionally, I enhanced technical aspects of SEO by optimizing site structure with breadcrumb navigation and ensuring full mobile responsiveness. Leveraging Shopify's built-in caching and performance features, I improved page loading times to enhance user experience and search engine rankings. Off-page efforts included building high-quality backlinks through strategic partnerships and engaging with the community on social media platforms, reinforcing Vastrae's online presence and driving sustainable growth.
