As the UI/UX designer, I embarked on this journey to craft a seamless, engaging user experience that would stand out in a competitive market.

Problem Statement
The home service market in France lacks a unified platform for accessing reliable professionals, leading to inconvenience, inconsistent service quality, and uncertainty in bookings. Maison Services addresses these issues by providing a transparent and efficient solution.
Proposed Solution
Maison Services simplifies booking home services in France. The platform connects users with verified professionals for tasks like repairs, beauty services, and event planning. Transparent pricing and detailed service information empower users to make informed choices. My role was to ensure this vision translated into an intuitive and delightful user interface.
Research
We started with the basics—understanding our users. Through surveys and interviews, we discovered pain points: users struggled with fragmented service platforms and inconsistent quality. We also performed a thorough competitor analysis, looking at giants like Wecasa and Booksy, and niche players like Batmaid and Planity. This groundwork laid the foundation for our design strategy.

User Interview Script
After validating the product idea through competitive analysis, user interviews were performed to learn about our target audience's needs and expectations. We conducted user interviews to dive deeper into the pain points and needs of our target audience. The insights were revealing—users wanted a reliable, easy-to-use platform that saved time and minimized hassle. These findings were instrumental in shaping our design approach.




Project Constraints
We faced our share of challenges. Coordinating a global team across different time zones and languages was tricky. Legal constraints, market competition, and budget limitations also tested our resolve. But with creativity and collaboration, we overcame these hurdles, finding innovative solutions at every turn.

With these constraints in mind, I came up with a strategic product roadmap. I created a logical structure and developed a comprehensive sitemap and user flow diagrams. These tools helped organize content effectively and streamline the user journey, making navigation intuitive and efficient.

I designed a sitemap that outlines the key sections and sub-sections of the Maison Services platform, providing a clear structure for both users and service providers.

Visual design focused on clean, modern aesthetics. I chose a calming color palette, easy-to-read typography, and intuitive icons. Key pages, from the home page to service listings and booking processes, were designed to be visually appealing and user-friendly. A consistent design system ensured uniformity across the platform.

We analyzed various CMS platforms, including Wix, WordPress, Bubble.io, and Softr.io. Each had its strengths and weaknesses, providing valuable insights into what features could make Maison Services exceptional.
